Consultant care

Looking at the drivers, not only the symptoms.

Appointments are unhurried. Before we meet you complete a health questionnaire, and you are asked to bring any letters, scans and recent blood results you already have. Face-to-face at The Richmond House Clinic, Penarth, and video consultations for the UK.

This private service focuses on lifestyle medicine and Precision Health within consultant obstetric and gynaecological care. Operative gynaecology is not offered here. If surgery or another in-clinic procedure is needed, onward referral is discussed.

Consultations

Initial consultation £450 (45–60 minutes). Follow-up consultation £245 (30–45 minutes). Tests are charged separately, if needed.

Payment plans are available. Ask the clinic when you book.

Consultations also support cyclical migraine, women's health optimisation for women without a specific diagnosis who want to feel and function at their best, and painful or heavy periods, once more serious causes have been ruled out. For endometriosis, I work alongside your endometriosis specialist, focusing on the inflammatory drivers rather than surgery.

Whatever brings you here, lifestyle medicine is a powerful place to start, and the foundation every other treatment builds on.

How the work is held

The first visit is 45–60 minutes of standard obstetric and gynaecological consultation led with lifestyle medicine and Precision Health. By the end of the visit you should have a working formulation, a short list of priorities, and a clear view of whether any test would actually change the plan.

After that visit you receive a long written plan. Where they are relevant to your problem, it covers nutrition, movement, sleep, stress load, and how any medication fits. It also says what not to add.

The second visit is 30–45 minutes, usually 8–16 weeks later. We review what changed, what did not, and any results from tests you chose to have. The plan is rewritten so it stays usable.
